Victorian Christmas

Thought I would try to make a Victorian card using the Holly GIrl Digital Stamp and Paper Pack from Coosty Creations available through the StitchyBear Digial Outlet. Spellbinder dies were used for the plain circle shapes, cArt_Decorative Oval_Frames for the digi  and sentiment mounts and Impression Obsession Snowflakes for the snowflakes which were cut with cream glitter paper. The digi was coloured with ProMarkers I added blue lace round the two snowflake blue paper circles to give the card a Victorian appearance, then added the glitter snowflakes on top.  The digi and sentiment mounts were finished off with Platinum Liquid Pearls.  The sentiment on the card says, 'This season, the best gift of all is your friendship'.

Here is a close-up of the coloured digi.

Ingredients:-
  • Cream Linen card from Craft Creations
  • Holly Girl Digital Stamp and Paper Pack by Coosty Creations
  • ProMarkers - Chestnut, Raw Sienna, Tan, Blush, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink, Almond, Vanilla, Primrose, Holly, Meadow Green, Tea Green, Blue Pearl, Cool Aqua, Duck Egg, Turquoise, Marine and Blendr
  • Dies - Spellbinder plain circle shapes, cArt_Decorative Oval_Frames and Impression Obsession Snowflakes for the snowflakes
  • Lace, Stickles, Liquid Pears from my stash
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

  6. What a beautiful Christmas card. The wording inside has given me such a big lump in my throat because friends are such a precious gift in each of our lives. I love 'Victoriana' and both your beautiful digi stamp and embellishments have captured the essence of the period perfectly. The colouring is so restful and reminiscent of the crisp, bright winter days that always look so pretty when one looks out from a cosy home :-) I love this card Treasure xxx
